Right on The Issues - Courage to Fight

C.S. Lewis said, "Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point."

That means being right on the issues isn't enough; what matters is whether you have the courage to stand up for what is right when the battle begins. I have been battle-tested and proven that I will not waiver.

I am unabashedly pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, and fiscally conservative.

You can read more about specific issues below, but know that as a father of three, I have the motivation and experience to fight every day to ensure that my kids and yours have a free, moral, and prosperous society to grow up in.

  • In Tennessee, we believe in the power of hard work and the spirit of entrepreneurship. By fighting for lower taxes and cutting red tape, I aim to empower small businesses and continue attracting high-paying jobs to our state.

    American Workers are the backbone of our country, and I understand that a thriving economy is built on the foundation of supporting our local businesses.

  • Illegal immigration is out of control, and President Biden’s radical open-border policies are endangering Tennessee families.

    I have introduced legislation to crack down on illegal immigration, secure the border, and push back against an administration that does not respect the sovereignty of Tennessee and its citizens.

    I will continue to support policies that make the Volunteer State a safe haven for those who come here legally, seeking to integrate into our society and embrace our culture, but I will continue to demand that the laws and public policy of this state discourage those who disrespect the rule of law in this country from finding comfort in Tennessee’s borders.

  • President Biden’s inflationary spending has been a disaster for our country, particularly our small towns and rural counties. The increasing cost of living hurts every family in Tennessee.

    I support policies that drive down the cost of living, including fighting against excessive property tax increases, wasteful government spending, and unfunded government programs that future generations will be saddled with.

  • Education is the key that unlocks all doors. It is the gateway to a prosperous future. I wholeheartedly support the right of parents to choose what educational pathway and setting is best for their children, but I absolutely refuse to cede the battlefield of public education to the radical left.

    I will fight to ensure that public schools are places for our children to learn the fundamentals of education in an environment free of radical social and political ideologies that are antithetical to Tennessee values. I support the expansion of vocational and technical education programs, increasing the number of magnet schools in our state, ensuring that homeschool families like mine remain free from government overreach, and keeping government regulation and influence out of the private school board room.

  • The right to bear arms for our individual and collective self-defense is the cornerstone of our freedom and democracy.

    I am dedicated to protecting and preserving our Second Amendment right for future generations. I support responsible gun ownership and champion legislation that safeguards the rights of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms for their protection, recreation, and peace of mind.

  • I stand firmly with our law
    enforcement officers who risk their lives daily to ensure our safety. My
    commitment is to make Tennessee a state where safety and justice are
    guaranteed for all people, and the law is respected and applied uniformly.

  • Agriculture is at the heart of Tennessee's history and a vital part of its modern economy. I am committed to supporting our farmers and rural communities with policies that protect Tennessee farmland from development and foreign investment, and I support policies that will promote agricultural innovation, sustainability, and market access.

  • Our veterans have made immense sacrifices for our freedom, and I believe in honoring their service with more than just words. I am dedicated to ensuring veterans receive the benefits, healthcare, and support services they have rightfully earned.

    Tennessee must do more to support our county Veterans Service Officers, who serve as a lifeline to thousands of rural Tennessee veterans in need of assistance with their VA benefits. description
